The Event

   The rally begins with a black tie pre-launch party on Saturday 27th August prior to setting off on this epic adventure on Sunday 4th September. We will leave Cambridge with a large press presence, in convoy aiming for the port of Dover.

  Upon reaching the port of Calais the rally really begins. All competitors will set off to the first timed stage and thereafter each check in. The time is recorded with points awarded to each team.

  The rally surges through France, Spain, Morocco, the Western Sahara and back to Tangier for a sumptuous party 9 days later.

  Visiting the ancient city of Fez, mystical Marrakech, through cedar forests, over the High Atlas mountains and through the Todra Gorge onto the Saharan sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. A whole day of rest in Merzouga before going through the Draa Valley to the desert town of Zagora.

  After an overnight stay with Berber tribesman, the rally heads north back over the High Atlas, culminating in a black tie rally party with the cream of Moroccan society in Tangier.

  This is the ultimate adventure for any 4x4 enthusiast.

Fabulous exotic parties with different cultures await..... live music and dancers African djembi bands...... even Pacha Marrakech style for the more exhuberant crews.
